MEET THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
President & CEO
Mr. Treece founded DMA Goodpoint, Inc. in 2007. With a 22 year career that began in sales, Mr. Treece quickly ascended to senior sales management positions before transitioning into product development and marketing. Mr. Treece’s marketing experiences include senior product manager, brand manager, and director of global product development. Transitioning to top organizational leadership and management responsibilities, Mr. Treece was Director of the Global Product Development Group and oversaw an annual $38 million product development budget with worldwide responsibilities for all product research and development. Mr. Treece and his family lived and worked in Europe for 5 years as a managing director of a $260 million revenue business unit for a Fortune 500 company.
Mr. Treece has an extensive 15 years of international business experience traveling and working in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Mr. Treece brings the vision and strategic direction which has driven DMA’s advancements since the company’s inception.
Mr. Treece holds an equally impressive educational background with a BA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has attended numerous executive education programs. Mr. Treece continues to be invited as a guest speaker or panelist at national sales and marketing seminars and continues to actively participate in executive industry forums.
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Bertling joined DMA in December 2007 as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Steve has been responsible for implementing new technology solutions throughout the manufacturing process as well as upgrading the company’s point of sales and financial reporting systems. Steve has overseen the company’s Internet and cataloging data base development. In 2009, Mr. Bertling was promoted to the position Chief Operation Officer.
Steve has held a series of high level financial positions during his 21 year IT and finance career. In his last position, Steve was Vice President Controller of a Fortune 500 company. In that role, Steve oversaw all aspects of financial accounting including treasury services, cost accounting, international financial statement consolidation, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, the audit function, the controllership function, and GAAP compliance. Steve was responsible for the developing the annual financial plan along with monitoring the attainment of plan.
Prior to this role, Steve was director of international accounting. This role involved the oversight over 9 foreign subsidiaries. The controller of each subsidiary reported directly to him. Steve oversaw the annual business planning process and his group performed cash flow and currency exposure analysis as well as the consolidation of each foreign subsidiary’s financials into those of the overall company. Steve also was responsible for variance analysis and the attainment of the annual plan. Steve also oversaw the audit function and internal controls of each subsidiary.
Along with solid work experience Steve has an equally impressive educational background with a Master Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. Holding the distinction as a CPA and CMA, Steve’s experience and education has been instrumental in building a strong conservative financial operating basis for the organization.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Mr. Harritan joined DMA Goodpoint in October 2011 as the Director of Distributor Sales. Upon directing exponential growth within the North American distributor market, Mark was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in August 2013.
As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Harritan has been responsible for instituting and managing a professional field representative agency strategy for DMA which has served to foster distributor relationships. Additionally, DMA effectively expanded its programs to the Mexico, Canada, and Caribbean markets and continues to grow throughout North America.
As Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Harritan has directed two industry award winning efforts, one for new packaging design and one for advertising. From acclaimed product literature and sales materials, to the cooperative marketing program, to the innovated “Word on the Street” video series, Mark has helped develop the DMA Marketing Department into an industry recognized, valuable resource for its distribution customers.
Prior to joining DMA, Mr. Harritan’s profession experience included an extensive sales background in the financial services industry. He provided counsel and advised on a variety of financial products for small & medium sized business as well as individuals. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Carolina University where he majored in Business with a concentrating in Marketing.
Vice President of OEM/OES Sales
As vice president of OEM/OES sales for DMA Goodpoint (DMA), Mr. Ferrise brings more than 40 years of experience in OES sales distribution channels, as well as the commercial vehicle tire and parts industry.
He most recently served as the president and CEO of Clarcor, Inc.’s Engine/Mobile Filtration Group, which consisted of Baldwin Filters, Inc., an aftermarket parts manufacturer with a wide-range of air, lube, fuel and hydraulic filtration products.
During his tenure at Clarcor, Ferrise played a pivotal role in the Engine/Mobile Filtration Group’s acquisition of Stanadyne, a fuel filtration supplier. He was also instrumental in helping to grow the company’s sales from $227 million in 2001 to $605 million in 2015.
Prior to that, Ferrise spent 20 years with Bandag, Inc., where he served in a number of managerial positions.
Ferrise holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations, as well as a minor in marketing from Bowling Green State University.
Chief Information Officer
Mrs. McIntyre joined DMA Goodpoint in August 2013. At DMA, she oversees the Web Services and Information Technology divisions. Her initiatives include improving service delivery through embracing effective and efficient use of technology; development and support of business applications; developing and improving online presence of the company; and leading strategic initiatives to transform the technology department to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to business needs.
Prior to joining DMA, Olga was an IT Consultant and Web & Software Developer for more than 10 years.
Mrs. McIntyre holds an MBA in Web Development as well as MBA in Computer Programming.
Manager Supply Chain & Business Analysis
Michelle Strang has been named manager supply chain and business analysis for DMA. She brings 20 years of experience in supply and demand production planning, and will report to Steve Bertling, chief financial officer of DMA.
Prior to joining DMA, Strang served as plant controller for ESAB. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of South Carolina, and a master’s degree in business administration from Winthrop University, as well as two graduate certifications from Coastal Carolina University.
Distribution Facility Manager
Mrs. Kenney joined DMA Goodpoint in January 2013.
As the Distribution Facility Manager for DMA, Mrs. Kenney oversees and implements the daily order receiving and shipping activities of all distribution personnel, across multiple departmental functions, facilities and shifts. She is also responsible for overseeing the delivery of all inbound shipment containers as well as preparing the facilities to quickly handle the inventory of products so that they are ready to be processed for orders and shipped. In addition to her operational duties and responsibilities, Mrs. Kenney directs and supervises all facility-related maintenance and groundskeeping activities.
Sarah has over 25 years of professional experience in distribution receiving, shipping and management. Prior to joining DMA, Mrs. Kenney was a supervisor over product shipping for an international HVAC manufacturing company.
Manager of Marketing & Creative Services
Sue Delaney joined DMA Goodpoint as Creative Design Specialist in March, 2012. In her new position as Manager of Marketing & Creative Services, she is responsible for all photography of product; layout and design of catalogs, flyers and other printed materials; as well as designing graphics for the website. Sue creates the email blasts, adds creativity to the videos for Word on the Street and the installation of shocks & struts videos. Every year, she designs & creates a fresh new look for DMA’s booth at the automotive industry’s AAPEX show in Vegas. Her collaborative designs have won 3 awards at this prestigious show.
Mrs. Delaney originally hails from Canada where she co-owned a successful sign business for 15 years. She has over 30 years of extensive experience in graphic design, which she applies to her creative position at DMA.
